A character you enjoyed, rooted for or plain felt empathy with suddenly did something to stop you caring altogether?

    Ee Shirley - i stopped watching all together when i realised they didn't really care about her when mick got a hell of a lot of screen time and she was barely involved

    Ronnie Branning
    Finally got her man Charlie Cotton and her baby Matthew Mitchell-Cotton butbdecided to sleep with Vincent Hubbard and destroy Charlie in the process.

    Sienna Blake
    Finally got her man in Ben Bradley but decided to have an affair with the local gangster, Trevor Royle. In the process Ben lost everything and all he did was love and protect her. Something she claimed she always wanted.
    Her mental health constantly excusing her crimes. Being allowed to be a teacer!

    Warren Fox
    Murdering Dale Greer so callously after Dale had saved his life just seconds before. Don't ask me to feel sympthy for empathy for a character like that.

    Her constant affairs and Sylver excusing her behaviour and even accepting it would always happen before his death!

    She was this way already. Actress' work limits due to her holidays in Greece being included or she quits

    Ben Mitchell - he was one of my favourite characters, especially played by Harry Reid, but the recast to Max Bowden ruined him for me. I don't see him as the same character anymore so I stopped caring, and I don't like him and Callum as a couple. Ben and Paul were way better.

    I was in a minority of people who liked Gemma in Corrie, but the minute they stuck her with sadsack Chesney I went off her. The turning point was when she was with that guy Henry and Chesney stood by watching and laughing whilst he was kidnapped right in front of him. The quads and bringing her mother in are just too much.

    Summer Spellman was likeable until they recast her. Now she is unbearable to watch.

    Abi Webster until she fell off the wagon yet again and was painted as the victim yet again

    I basically went off Peri in Hollyoaks from December 2017 to March 2019, although I was able to part forgive her in April 2018.

    This was after she slept with Lily's boyfriend/fiance Prince, prolonged the lie about being pregnant and even blamed Leela for her "miscarriage".

    I mean I would go loopy for another night with Prince too 😂

    I mean I just think her lack on interaction with her own child is what makes me not interested in her.

    When Gemma became the "face" of Corrie it put me rightnoff. I deserved better as did the viewers.

    I think Imran dying and her getting the kid alongside Kevin plus no accountability for her mistakes out me right off Abi.

    I just never got into Ben. He has chatoo often with each recast. He has no redemption now but wasn't written as well as Phil back in the 90's.
