Jodi King speaks to Nashville Rotary Club about the CALL of Howard County

Last Wednesday, Jodi King of the CALL of Howard County spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club. 

King stated the CALL of Arkansas was started in Saline County in 2007 and it was established in Howard County in 2017.

King said explained the mission of the CALL of Howard County.

King said there are between 4,000 and 5,000 children in the foster care system at any one time in the state of Arkansas. She said there nine kids in foster care in Howard County at this time and fortunately, there are 8 homes currently available to accept children in need.

King said the ultimate goal is to see families reunited, but 12 children in the foster care system have been adopted into their forever homes in Howard County since 2017.
