The Pella School Board reviewed the certified annual report at their meeting Monday.

The report is filed annually with the Iowa Department of Education, and details assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenditures for all funds in the district from the previous fiscal year.

The board also approved the annual special education supplement and modified allowable growth request, the annual NASA Space Settlement Design Competition trip, an agreement with The Queue eSports Arena for the Pella eSports team, a memorandum of understanding with “I Love U Guys” Foundation, and the employee assistance plan. An agreement for use of school logos that would charge for use for those who sell merchandise with the trademarks was tabled due to varying concerns about specific contract language.

Reports were also given by all district administrators before a work session highlighted board goals and questions for the upcoming legislative roundtable on October 10th.
