OTTOMAN STABLES CURRENTLY BEING EVALUATED AFTER A FIRE BROKE OUT EARLIER THIS EVENING. OFFICIALS SAY A FIRE BROKE OUT AT ONE OF THE OFFICES ON THE PROPERTY. FIREFIGHTERS WERE ABLE TO GET TO THE SCENE QUICKLY. THE FIRE WAS SMALL AND IT DID NOT SPREAD. NO ONE WAS INJURED AND THE HORSES ARE BEING LOOKED AT OUT OF AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION JUST TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE OKAY.

The New Orleans Fire Department responded to a fire Monday at the Audubon stables.Officials said the fire started at the office on property.We're told the fire was small and put out quickly.No one was injured.Audubon veterinarians were on scene to make sure none of the horses were injured.
