7h agoA bicyclist was struck by a car in Westhampton on Monday, police say.
Southampton police say 58-year-old Sandy Smith was struck on County Road 31 just north of the railroad crossing.
Smith was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center for treatment.
There is no word on the extent of her injuries, but it appears that she will survive.
The driver, identified as Justin Glover, stayed at the scene and no criminal charges will be filed.
