2 men shot in Central Falls

The shooting happened just before 7:30 p.m. by the basketball courts on Higginson Avenue.
Both men were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting is unrelated to the standoff on Tremont Street.
No suspects have been identified at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
