Design, building and repair experts will descend on the David L. Lawrence Convention Center Downtown this weekend for the annual Pittsburgh Fall Home Show.

The popular event brings together hundreds of local home improvement and building professionals under one setting, where they interact with attendees, showcase their designs and demonstrate their products.

The show takes place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-12, and free for children younger than 6.

One of the event’s major attractions is the The Antique Home Show with Dr. Lori of the History Channel featuring “The Curse of Oak Island” star Dr. Lori, who will be evaluating visitors’ items for free — and telling them what they are worth. Each attendee may have one item evaluated for free; participants also must arrive 30 minutes prior to the show for before meeting with Dr. Lori.

Other vendors taking the home stage include The Kefir Chicks, who will be talking about water kefir and how it can help your home, as well as Composite Reinforced Foundations presented by A Plus Repair Pittsburgh and the American Institute of Architects Pittsburgh Chapter.

Booths featured at the event include BetterLiving Patio & Sunrooms of Pittsburgh, D’Art by DaVill, Edison Landscape & Deck Lighting. For more information on this year’s show, visit here.
