Stranger Things season 4 has produced a hilarious blooper reel.
Despite its cast's best efforts – Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Brett Gelman, David Harbour and Noah Schnapp in particular – they couldn't quite reach the sweet spot for every single take, and that's where compilations like these come in.
Below, you can even find Vecna's Jamie Campbell Bower struggling to maintain that monstrous energy in a scene with Sadie Sink's Max Mayfield.

But it's not all just a case of corpsing (a term used when a performer loses composure), because Eleven actress Millie Bobby Brown also comes across as a pure wind-up merchant, scaring her colleagues just for the fun of it when she's not dancing in between takes.
"This is gonna be nice and serious..." smiles Keery as Steve Harrington, the crew's muffled chuckles going off in the background.

In other Stranger Things news, co-creator Matt Duffer has explained why the fifth and final season will be significantly shorter than this year's fourth.
"We're trying to return to the simplicity of the structure in season 1, with bigger scale and scope," he said, while suggesting that an exception is in the works due to the "pretty massive" series finale.
"The runtimes being as long as they were was something of a surprise to us. Ross [Duffer] and I have been trying to analyse how they ended up that long because the scripts aren't even that long.
"We've realised that our writing style has changed a little bit in terms of how we space out description. I think that added to some length."
Stranger Things seasons 1-4 are now streaming worldwide on Netflix.
