Savior for the Buccaneers was already in the stadium in loss

The Buccaneers lost to the Packers in a game where their offense only had to score two touchdowns. If only there was another pass-catcher to add to bolster the offense…..

The Buccaneers are banged up, bruised, and cruising towards a difficult game against the Chiefs and one of the best offensive minds in the NFL.

Tampa’s defense has been arguably the best in the league through three weeks, but the offense has been on the complete other end of the spectrum.

Three touchdowns in three weeks is inexcusable for a team that is based around its offense, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t an answer out there; Rob Gronkowski.

Gronk truly is the piece of this team that it misses the most. The other tight ends have been nothing to write home about and none possess a fraction of Gronkowski’s abilities as a pass-catcher.

We’ve gotten a lot of conflicting information on Gronkowski and a potential return to football, but the good news for the Bucs is that he did have a first-row seat to their first loss of the 2022 season, and maybe that will be enough to light a spark in Tom Brady’s favorite receiver to return.

Maybe seeing Brady get sacked and the constant drops will be all it takes to get Gronk off the bench and back into the game.

Whatever it is, the Buccaneers miss their starting tight end from the last two seasons in a major way. The offense just hasn’t been the same, and Brady could use a little consistency if this unit is going to run around before any massive damage is done to the season.

The Bucs need Rob Gronkowski back on the field, and him being at the game is at least one good way to get such an important piece back.
