Rutgers’ head coach Greg Schiano has big goals for the Scarlet Knights’ game against Ohio State this weekend.

Despite a big loss to Iowa on Saturday, Schiano is still counting on a win against the No. 3 team in the country this weekend.

“We are going to win the game. That’s what we’re doing,” Schiano said according to 247Sports. “We’re going to Columbus to win the game.”

Schiano isn’t backing down from the challenge, it seems, and has confidence in his team heading forward.

“Will that happen? You know there’s another team on the other sideline that wants the same thing,” Schiano said. “That’s why goals are overrated in my opinion. We both have the same goal at the beginning of any game. But we are going to do everything we can, we are going to practice and get ready and go out to Columbus and play our best.”

Schiano has a history with Ohio State, as he was the defensive coordinator from 2016 to 2018.

Rutgers and Ohio State kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
