Shay Mitchell and Her New Red Hair Stun at Milan Fashion Week

Last week, right before Shay Mitchell jetted off to Milan Fashion Week, she decided to do something dramatic: Dye her signature dark raven mane red in her kitchen sink, with the help of hairstylist Jesus Guerrero. “Thank you to the one and only @jesushair for going along with my extremely last-minute desire to dye my hair after a full day’s shoot,” wrote the You star alongside a snap of her dye job processing.

Mitchell debuted her new crimson hue at the Fendi show, with her lengths twisted up into an equal parts wispy and voluminous updo that recalled the thrown-up styles of ‘90s supermodels. She then went on to wear the cool shade of cherry cola—a lower maintenance alternative to last year’s acid-bright copper arriving just in time for fall—in an array of styles, including a polished half-up bun and a sleek blowout paired with smoky eyes while sitting front row at Versace. 

With her new fiery lengths, Mitchell more than left her mark on the week—and no doubt further fueled the burgeoning chocolate cherry hair color trend while she was at it.
