SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A 25-year-old man was arrested Sunday morning in Sioux Falls for aggravated assault against law enforcement.
Authorities say Keanan Eagledeer was in a parking lot, firing a handgun into the air, near 12th Street and Duluth Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday. Officers found him walking by 14th and Minnesota Avenue. He reportedly pointed the gun at police officers and then threw it after the weapon jammed. Officers were able to recover the gun. Eagledeer also had a small amount of marijuana and meth on him. Along with the aggravated assault charge, he was arrested on a weapons violation and drug charges.
