An Oxford man charged in connection to the ongoing Furnas County sex trafficking case has been sentenced to probation and jail.
According to Furnas County District Court records, Brent Keslar, 40, was sentenced to 18 months probation and 30 days in jail. He was given an additional 60-day sentence that can be waived by probation.
Keslar pled no contest in June to one count of committing negligent child abuse – no injury. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors reduced a charge of first-degree sexual assault to committing negligent child abuse – no injury.
The offense is alleged to have occurred on July 1, 2019.
An affidavit in the case has been sealed, but a complaint says the case involved a minor between the age of 12 and 16. The victim is the same one involved in the other Furnas County sex trafficking cases.
