SHELDON—A 40-year-old Sheldon woman was arrested about 3:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, on charges of possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine — third or subsequent offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; driving while her license was denied, suspended, canceled or revoked; and driving without required high-risk insurance.

The arrest of Sheila Marie Sundall stemmed from the stop of a 2002 Honda Accord at the intersection of Highway 18 and Second Avenue, according to the Sheldon Police Department.

A search of her backpack located a substance that field-tested positive for meth and a cylindrical pipe with a bulb on the end of it used to smoke meth.
