Ohio state troopers seized $1 million worth of cocaine during a traffic stop along Interstate 75.Ohio State Highway Patrol said troopers stopped a 2018 Dodge Ram cargo van with Texas registration for a turn signal violation along the interstate.During the traffic stop, troopers observed criminal indicators and a patrol drug-sniffing canine that alerted the vehicle.Troopers then searched the vehicle, where 33 pounds of cocaine was discovered. OSHP said the amount of drugs is worth around $1,073,000.The driver, Paige LaTonya-Katryna Hamilton, 32, from Palm Bay, Florida, was taken to the Wood County Jail and charged with possession and trafficking in drugs, both first-degree felonies.If convicted, she could face up to 22 years in prison and up to a $40,000 fine.
