A truck driver was killed on Sunday after he suffered from a "medical episode" while driving his tractor trailer which then crashed, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's, MSHP, online crash report.

The incident happened around 7:54 a.m. nearly seven miles east of Milan in Sullivan County, Mo.

The big rig swerved off the side of the road and struck a ditch.

Roy Harris, 59, of Awendaw, S.C., was pronounced dead at the scene.

The MSHP deemed Harris' death a non-traffic fatality.
