NEW THIS MORNING OUT OF LAFOURCHE PARISH, OFFICERS ARE INVESTIGATING A SHOOTING THAT OCCURRED LAST NIGHT IN THE MARYDALE COMMUNITY IN THIBODAUX. IT HAPPENED JUST BEFORE 7:30, WHEN DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO MULTIPLE SHOTS FIRED ON CAROL STREET. ONE MAN WAS STRUCK BY AT LEAST ONE ROUND, AND TAKEN TO A HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT. Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left one man injured on Sunday night. According to reports, a man was shot on Carol Street in Thibodaux around 7:30 p.m. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
