Grand Blanc, Fenton again rule in Genesee County girls swimming championships

FLINT – Grand Blanc scored 553 points to easily win the Genesee Country Girls Swimming and Diving Invitational at Fenton.

Fenton was second with 335 points, Davison was third with 307, Powers Catholic was fourth with 236 and Owosso was fifth with 204.

Grand Blanc and Fenton also finished 1-2 a year ago.

Grand Blanc won seven of the 12 events. Fenton won the other five.

100 butterfly – Tess Heavner (Fenton) 57.73.

100 freestyle – Sophie Stefanac (Fenton) 54.38.

500 freestyle – Addison Dolliver (Fenton): 5:32.38.

200 freestyle relay – Grand Blanc (Allyson Quitos, Abrianna Quitos, Ellie Berry, Estella Grasso) 1:42.17.

100 backstroke – Tess Heavner (Fenton) 56.83.

100 breaststroke – Allyson Quitos (Grand Blanc) 1:09.06.

400 freestyle relay – Fenton (Allyson Dolliver, Josie Fries, Sophie Stefanac, Tess Heavner) 3:43.80.
