FORSYTH, Ga. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an inmate who they say stole a city work truck and escaped from a city work detail.

A BOLO (be on the lookout) has been issued for Robert Jenkins. Deputies said Jenkins stole a white Ford F150 with the City of Forsyth logo on the side.
Jenkins is from Columbus, Georgia.

Anyone who sees Jenkins or knows where he may be is asked to contact local law enforcement.
It’s unclear what crimes Jenkins is serving time for.
