Wayne Public Library Events

WAYNE – A handful of Wayne Public Library activities will be highlighted during the final week of September.

According to a release, the ‘Traditional Book Club’ will meet on Tuesday, September 27 at 6:30 p.m.

The September discussion book will be ‘The Authenticity Project’ by Clare Pooley in the library conference room.

Toddler Time takes place each Wednesday or Thursday at 10 a.m. with Miss Kim. in the library for stories, music, dancing, busy bags and more. Participants will be able to meet other parents and kids in the area while learning about the various services and reading programs the library offers.

A final ‘After School Craft’ event will be available on Wednesday, September 28 for an ‘After School Story Time with Miss Kim’ at 2:15 p.m.

Needle Night is offered every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy conversation and good company while working on your personal needlework projects. All kinds of decorative sewing and textile arts handicrafts are welcome.

Starting next week, there’ll be several ‘Take and Make’ kits available. They include ‘Recycled Book Pumpkin’, ‘Make us a Ghost’ and ‘Inktober Bookfest’ beginning Monday, October 3. The ‘New Adult Book Club’ will also meet at 7 p.m. discussing ‘The Song of Achilles’ by Madeline Miller in the library conference room next month.

Library hours include Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and from 2 – 5 p.m. on Sunday’s.
