Terry Dubrow Shares Which of His and Heather Dubrow’s Kids Is His “Mini Me”

The RHOC husband and father couldn’t help but admire one of his children’s on-brand wardrobe choice.

Even with more 2,500 miles between them, The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Dr. Terry Dubrow and his daughter Max are still as close as ever. Now that his and Heather Dubrow’s eldest daughter has started her freshman year at Tufts University in Massachusetts, the father of four is using the wonders of technology to keep in touch.

When Max wore a sweatshirt that read “Botched” on campus, for example, the plastic surgeon made sure to share her mirror selfie with his Instagram followers. “My mini-me[’s] college outfit today! Love my [Max Dubrow],” he wrote on September 22, adding “Tufts University” as a hashtag.

After his daughter commented, “love you dad,” with three red heart emojis, Terry replied, “[It’s] actually better not in the mirror since it’s backwards too.”

The RHOC dad is also keeping tabs on Max through social media. Two days later, she posted a photo of herself reading a book by the window of her dorm room, and he commented, “Studying! I love it!” His assessment wasn’t totally correct, however, as his daughter responded, “Well… reading for fun but close enough.”

Despite embarking on new adventures on the East Coast, Max still didn’t miss the opportunity to celebrate Terry’s birthday from afar earlier in the month. On September 14, she shared several photos of her dad, adding a heartfelt tribute in the lengthy caption. “I am so insanely thankful for everything you do for our family,” Max wrote, in part. “I am so honored to not only know you, but to be your blood.”

She went on to describe her dad and “best friend” as the “smartest, most hardworking, inspiring, selfless, kind, sweet, shy, easygoing, and humble person” she knows. After thanking him for teaching her about music, Buddhism, happiness, and stocks, as well as for being “such an amazing role model,” Max said she owes so much of her past and future success to him.

“I miss you so much and being so far from you is so difficult but thank you for always pushing me to be my best self,” she added.

Terry is hardly the only member of the Dubrow family she had a difficult time saying goodbye to when she went off to college. On August 25, Max asked in an Instagram caption how she was “supposed to leave [her] best friend,” her twin brother, Nick, who decided to attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles this year.

After Nick commented, “I love you so much,” she sweetly replied, “I love you more.”

But Max hasn’t been totally without her family throughout her first month of college. In a recent post to her Instagram Stories, she shared a mother-daughter photo from Heather’s recent visit. “I love you mommy, come back soon please,” she captioned the shot. And yes, the RHOC cast member was equally emotional, resharing the photo to her own Instagram Stories and adding no fewer than eight crying emojis.

As Max shared in a more recent IG Story, she’ll be making a visit to Orange County in the coming weeks, so get ready for a glorious Dubrow family reunion very soon.
