Patricia Altschul Reveals This Southern Charm Couple Just Broke Up

The Southern Charm matriarch spilled all the tea about the groom’s “commitment phobia.”

By Brad Witter

Maybe rain on your wedding day isn’t good luck after all. Southern Charm’s Patricia Altschul just announced a breakup that we did not see coming.

How to Watch

Watch Southern Charm on Peacock and the Bravo App.

“I’m sorry to report that Peaches and Little Craig have separated… surprisingly, it turns out he has a commitment phobia,” Patricia revealed on September 24, sharing an Instagram photo of her Pomeranian, Peaches, sitting on her lap in a wedding dress. “Please respect their privacy at this time.”

Even though Shep Rose’s dog, Lil Craig, didn’t end up being the one for her after nearly a year of marriage, Peaches seems to be adopting an “on to the next” post-split mentality: Among the hashtags Patricia used was “eat, drink, and remarry.”

Lil Craig, for his part, doesn’t seem to be sweating his doggy divorce too much either. The following day, Shep shared on his Instagram Stories a video and photo of them out for a hike with his mother, Frances. “King of the mountain,” he captioned the September 25 video. Later, he shared a Lion King–esque photo of them surveying Lil Craig’s kingdom. “Look at your domain,” he wrote, referring to his French bulldog as a “little furry benevolent dictator.”

As fans will well remember, Patricia threw Peaches and Craig a formal dog wedding, which was featured on the August 11 “Holy Mutt-rimony” episode of Southern Charm Season 8. From multiple cakes to a full reception, no expense was spared for the November 5 nuptials. Serving as a groomsman and a bridesmaid, even former flames Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy had a reunion of sorts at the ceremony.

Ahead of the episode airing, Southern Charm’s Leva Bonaparte shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos from Peaches and Lil Craig’s “[glamorous] dog wedding” and post-ceremony reception. “Whenever things get weird [I] can count on my girl [Naomie Olindo] to giggle with me!” she captioned her August 10 post, in part, first including a selfie taken with fellow attendees Naomie and Venita Aspen.

Watch Southern Charm on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c and the next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.
