Glastonbury Police are investigating the deaths of two teenagers in a Sunday night crash between a motorcycle and an SUV.

The motorcyclist, Gordon "Mac" Southby, 18, and a 15-year-old passenger in the SUV were killed in the collision around 7 p.m. on Rte. 94 (Hebron Ave.) near Rte. 2.

Southby was a senior at Glastonbury High School. In a letter to families, school principal Nancy Bean writes, "Mac was very intelligent and charismatic, and will be greatly missed."

She says school counselors and psychologists are on hand to help students or staff in need of help.
