NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A homeless man walking on the FDR Drive in Manhattan Sunday night was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver.

The unidentified victim, who the New York Post reported was homeless, was walking along the southbound lanes around 7:45 p.m. when the driver rammed into him near 14th Street and kept driving, police said.
His name was not immediately released by police.
The NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad is continuing the investigation.
