Do you remember that 2011 movie about two friends who, because of a lack of romantic prospects, make their friendship physical? They don’t want to date each other, and agree not to fall in love, but one thing leads to another and they end up a typical rom-com scenario.

If you were thinking of the Ashton Kutcher movie “No Strings Attached,” you’re right. But you weren’t wrong if you were thinking of the Mila Kunis movie “Friends With Benefits,” because as Kutcher pointed out recently, they were “basically the same movie.”

The “Two and a Half Men” star reunited with his “No Strings Attached” costar Natalie Portman and teased that he and his wife both appeared in similar films at the same time.

Portman joined Kutcher for his marathon training series with Peloton, where he told the “Star Wars” actress that he thinks “the first time we really started hanging out is when we shot ‘No Strings’ together.”

Portman responded “who would’ve thought 20 years later we’d be on a Peloton together?” Prompting Kutcher to note that “it’s also weird because my wife was shooting basically the same movie called ‘Friends With Benefits.’”

The movies’ parallel plot lines aren’t the only coincidence – Portman pointed out that she and Kunis “had just shot ‘Black Swan’ together right before. So we were all making out with each other.”

Though at the time Kutcher was still married to Demi Moore, the couple divorced in 2013 and he married Kunis, who he met when they starred on “That ‘70s Show,” in 2015.
