UPDATE (October 3rd):
A man has been arrested and charged for a shooting in Chattanooga that killed 1 and injured another, the Chattanooga Police Department says.
CPD says they obtained warrants against 19-year-old Daquan Mason in connection to the death of one of the victims, identified as Roger Bell.
An affidavit we obtained on Tuesday says the unidentified victim was shot in the back.
Officers used video surveillance that showed Mason shooting at two men, with one of them returning fire.
The other man ran from the scene, with Mason following and shooting the entire time, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit says Mason admitted to being at the scene and firing his weapon, saying he was the one who first pulled the trigger.
Mason is charged with criminal homicide, attempted criminal homicide, and reckless endangerment.
He is currently in custody at Silverdale Detention Center.
We are working to obtain a mugshot.
