Man shot, killed in Okolona identified by coroner; suspect in custody
The man shot and killed in Okolona Sunday afternoon has been identified by the coroner.Meanwhile, the man accused of pulling the trigger is in custody.Daniel Williams, 38, of Okolona, died at 1:55 p.m. on Sunday after being found with a gunshot wound.It happened in the 3700 block of Bonaventure Boulevard to the west of Blake Elementary School.Louisville Metro Police Homicide Unit arrested 20-year-old Keiran Faulkner Sunday and charged him with Williams' murder.Police say they spoke with several witnesses who identified Faulkner as carrying a rifle after the shooting.Other witnesses said they saw Faulkner holding a rifle and pulling on Williams as he was laying on the ground.They said he fled the scene in a car.Faulkner later returned to the scene of the shooting with his father where police say he was arrested without incident.Faulkner's father told detectives that his son "did it" and told detectives he had "the gun."Faulkner was taken and booked in Louisville Metro Corrections.He refused to talk to police and asked to speak with his lawyer.
