NAME OF THE CHILD WHO DIED. NEW AT NOON, AN ARREST HAS BEEN MADE AFTER AN ARGUMENT OVER THE WEEKEND LED TO SHOTS FIRED. DEPUTIES SAY JONLEE CHAD RICKS WAS ARRESTED THIS MORNING. SATURDAY NIGHT, THEY SAY RICKS GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT IN A RESTAURANT PARKING LOT ALONG HIGHWAY 86. DEPUTIES SAY SHOTS WERE FIRED, BUT NO ONE WAS HIT. THEY SAY RICKS THEN GOT INTO A CAR AND CHASED THE VICTIM, WHO THEN CRASHED ALONG FRONTAGE ROAD. NO MAJOR INJURIES WERE REPORTED.

Deputies with the Anderson County Sheriff’s office say a man was arrested Monday after shots were fired in a restaurant parking lot over the weekend. Deputies say that an argument carried over into a restaurant parking lot Saturday on Highway 86. That argument led to shots fired, deputies say. Deputies say Jonlee Chad Ricks fired shots and then got into his car and chased the victim.Deputies say the chase ended in a crash on Frontage Road.Ricks was arrested and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery high and aggravated, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Deputies with the Anderson County Sheriff’s office say a man was arrested Monday after shots were fired in a restaurant parking lot over the weekend.
Deputies say that an argument carried over into a restaurant parking lot Saturday on Highway 86.
