Motorcyclist, 48, killed in Bronx collision

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police officials are investigating the death of a man following a motorcycle collision in the Bronx early Sunday, according to authorities.

Officials responded to a 911 call of a vehicle collision on the northbound Major Deegan Expressway and the RFK Bridge in the South Bronx at around 12:15 a.m.

A preliminary investigation determined that Eric Parache, 48, the driver of a 2020 Ducati motorcycle was traveling northbound on the Major Deegan Expressway north of the RFK Bridge when he struck a concrete barrier and was ejected from the motorcycle.

Parache was pronounced dead at the scene.

The NYPD's Highway Collision Investigation Squad is investigation this collision.
