MTA conductor punched in unprovoked attack inside Bronx subway station; suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a suspect who punched an MTA worker in an unprovoked attack in the Bronx last week, authorities said.

The assault happened at approximately 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, September 20, inside the East 149th Street - Grand Concourse subway station in the South Bronx.

According to police, a 46-year-old MTA conductor had just opened the train car window when he was approached by the suspect and punched in the face.
