Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas signed a proclamation Friday, declaring September 23 as H.M. Bottom Day in the city. Mayor Thomas spoke to WJRS News after the signing about the importance of remembering H.M.
Fire Chief Bobby Johnson said H.M.’s legacy lives on within the Russell Springs Fire Department.
