Senators Say Missouri Losing from No Sports Betting

(MISSOURINET) –  It was a weekend of historic – and some unlikely outcomes for sports teams in Missouri. Albert Pujols hits his 700th Homerun while playing his former team in L-A, Mizzou fumbles an S-E-C nail-biter with Auburn, and the Kansas City Chiefs lose their first game against a winless team.

The kind of games that sports betters thrive on.

Two leaders of the Missouri Senate want to legalize sports betting in the next legislative session. Senate Republican Leader Caleb Rowden, of Columbia, said during Special Session last week that QUOTE: Missouri looks dumb for not allowing adult residents to place bets on sporting events.

Democratic Leader John Rizzo, of Independence, agrees….

Missouri’s neighboring states allow sports wagering.
