Fall fish fry

The Bethlehem United Church of Christ will host its 15th Annual Fish Fry on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 4-7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and include three pieces of fish, baked beans, potato salad and a brownie with caramel sauce. This event is carry out only. Sales are day of event only. Proceeds benefit the Tri-State Food Bank and Gather Network.

The Copper House is now offering a selection of house-crafted non-alcoholic cocktails.

Restaurant offers zero-proof crafted cocktails

The Copper House is now making non-alcoholic adult-quality cocktails in house. Sample a Sweet Sunshine with pineapple, blood orange, lemon and house almond syrup; a Nimbopani with lemon, muddled fresh mint, sugar and a dash of salt; or others.

Pumpkin and Pickle Festival

The Cottage Farm Stand and Bakery in Owensboro, Ky. will host the Pumpkin and Pickle Festival on Saturday, Oct. 1 and Sunday, Oct. 2 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. Partake of fried pickles, pickle-stuffed Kolaches, pickle ice pops, pickle beer, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin spice lattes, slushies, and more. In addition, there will be a corn maze, pumpkin painting, petting zoo, pumpkins to purchase and about 80 vendors with crafts from knits to jewelry to paintings.

Cousins Maine Lobster returning to Evansville

Cousins Maine Lobster will return to Myriad Brewing Company on Friday, Sept. 30, from 3-8 p.m. Enjoy a Myriad craft brew with your lobster roll, chowder, lobster grilled cheese or other Maine lobster-based goodie.

S'mores at the Orchard

The Evansville Countryside Orchard will host S’more Family Fun on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 4-6 p.m. Pick apples and pumpkins, purchase a s’mores kits and roast the marshmallows at the bonfire. The Stuft food truck will be there with their signature stuffed burgers and more.

After a two-year hiatus, the International Food Festival at the Islamic Society of Evansville is back this year.

Popular international food festival returns after COVID

The Islamic Society of Evansville will host its 19th Annual International Food Festival on Sunday, Oct. 2, beginning at 11 a.m. Stop for exotic treats from tandoori chicken to Afghani pilaf with raisins and carrots, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, kebabs, baklava and much more.

All-you-can-eat breakfast in Newburgh

The Newburgh Masonic Lodge F&AM #174 will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 6-9 a.m. Your $10 ticket gets you scratch sausage gravy and biscuits, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Kids under 12 $5.

It's Fall Festival time

The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival will happen from Monday, Oct. 3 – Saturday, Oct. 8, along West Franklin Street between St. Joseph and Wabash Avenues. More than 130 local non-profit organizations will have food booths selling items from the basic to the exotic and frankly strange. Don’t miss it.
