One person died when she apparently lost control of her car and it struck a pickup on CR 465 near Poplar Bluff Saturday afternoon. The MSHP reports 32 year old Gina Eberhart of Poplar Bluff was pronounced dead at the scene by Butler County Coroner Jim Akers, following the accident just before 6 p.m.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt.
A Malden man was hurt Friday night when his motorcycle ran off Highway 25 just north of Malden. Troop E reports 45 year old Matthew Smith received minor injuries and was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital, following the accident that happened about 6:45 p.m.
Another one vehicle traffic accident in New Madrid County Saturday morning left the driver seriously hurt. The Patrol reports 32 year old Victoria Gaines of Portageville was taken by Air Evac to a Memphis hospital after her vehicle ran off Highway F just north of Portageville, struck a ditch, and overturned.
That accident happened at 9:45 a.m.
