Atwood Fall Festival 2022 offers true Autumn joy for a variety of ages where the spirit of the season can truly be felt and experienced.

Atwood Lake Fall Festival 2022! 

There is “Something for Everyone” each year at the annual “Atwood Area Fall Festival, located at beautiful Atwood Lake Park in Mineral City, Ohio during the first weekend in October.  Children learn so much from being outside and experiencing all of the demonstrations and crafts.  They can generalize this knowledge into the classroom and extend their learning (not to mention have some cool visual memories to journal about)!

The Atwood Area Fall Festival reaches a wide audience with:

  • Homemade crafts
  • Hands-on displays
  • Entertainment
  • Interpretive demonstrations
  • Exhibits

  In cooperation with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, the Atwood Area Fall Festival Committee Inc. coordinates all the weekend’s engaging activities.  The weekend is full of fun to hit all of your 5 senses!

Festival Hours

Friday, Sept- 30 – 10:00 am to 9:00 pm

Saturday, Oct. 1 – 10:00 am to 9:00 pm

Sunday, Oct. 2 – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Admission

$5.00 per person

Children 11 years old and younger – FREE

Senior Day (ages 55 and older) – Friday ONLY – $2.00 per senior. 

Full Weekend Pass – $10.00 per person for the whole weekend.

Each season MWCD creates ideas and opportunities of how to explore and experience the park with as much family fun as possible!  

Challenges are extremely engaging and motivating for children to complete.  Printing off a copy of the Fall Bingo card, reading it to the kids, and even having copies for children on clipboards will keep their enthusiasm up.

Responsible stewards dedicated to providing the benefits of flood reduction, conservation and recreation in the Muskingum River Watershed. The MWCD is the largest conservancy district in the state and led the effort to construct 14 dams and reservoirs. The MWCD has jurisdiction for its operations in all or portions of an 18-county area. The 18 counties wholly or partially contained in the MWCD jurisdiction are Ashland, Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Holmes, Harrison, Knox, Licking, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Richland, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Wayne, and Washington.
