POLICE SAY LAURA ANN ARCHIBALD WAS DRIVING ON IE 293 WHEN HER VEHICLE LEFT THE ROAD AND STRUCK A TREE BEFORE BEING STOPPED BY A GUARDRAIL. IT’S NOT CLEAR WHY HER CAR LEFT THE ROAD. GOOD SAMARITANS STOPPED WHEN THEY SAW THE CRASH AND PULLED HER OUT OF THE CAR. ARCHAMBAULT WAS THE ONLY PERSON

A woman is hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing her car Sunday morning on I-293 in Manchester.New Hampshire State Police said the silver 2010 Subaru Forester crashed into a tree and spun behind a guardrail before catching fire near mile 9 of I-293 south. Officials said they do not know why the car went offroad.Police said they received calls about the crash around 10:53 a.m. Manchester Fire Department assisted at the scene.Good Samaritans pulled Laura Ann Archambault, 43, of Hooksett, out of the car before the fire department arrived. Archambault was the only person in the car. Officials transported her to Elliot Hospital.The right lane was shut down for an hour while state police processed the scene.
