Coroner IDs man who died after being shot on the Watterson Expressway
The Jefferson County Coroner's office has identified the man shot on the Watterson Expressway as 37-year old Ahmed Nafa Abdul Jabar.
He was found shot on I264 East near Exit 10 on September 18.
He died at University Hospital five days later.

Louisville Metro Police are investigating a shooting on the Watterson Expressway that sent a man to the hospital.
Shortly before 5 p.m. on Sunday, LMPD's Fourth Division responded to reports of a shooting near the 10-mile marker of the Watterson near the Southern Parkway exit.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle.
EMS was called to the scene.
Due to the severity of the man's injuries, he was taken to University Hospital.
Authorities say the man is in critical condition.
According to Trimarc, the incident closed the eastbound lanes for a medical emergency.
By 7:20 p.m., all lanes of the Watterson had reopened.
