Coroner identifies driver from crash on Geer Highway

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said a woman died after a crash on Sunday.
According to Highway Patrol troopers, the crash happened around 3:47 p.m. on Geer Highway near Circle Drive.
Troopers say a Ford Explorer was traveling east on Geer Highway. The driver was turning left onto Geer Highway from Circle Drive when they were hit by an oncoming vehicle.
The coroner said the victim was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where they later passed away. The Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as 60-year-old Donna Guffin Wiggins from Travelers Rest.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.
