ABOUT THIS ALL MORNING. TREES COMPLETELY UPROOTED IN SOME OF THE AREA. COURTNEY: GOOD MORNING. STILL A MAJOR IMPACT IN THIS AREA OF BAYVIEW. I WANT TO SHOW YOU HOW TALL IT IS, THIS IS IN THE ROADWAY ON INDIANA AND HOLT AVENUE. IT IS COMPLETELY BLOCKING THE ROAD. IT UPROOTED THE SIDEWALK IN THIS AREA. EXTENSIVE DAMAGE NEAR BAY VIEW, TAKE A LOOK. IT REALLY JUST LIFTED UP THE WHOLE SIDEWALK. THERE ARE SEVERAL POWER OUTAGES IN THE AREA. THIS PARTICULAR BLOCK DOES HAVE POWER. AT LAST CHECK OF THE POWER MAP, THERE ARE ABOUT 700 HOMES STILL WITHOUT POWER THIS MORNING. WIND GUSTS HIT 60 MILES PER HOUR IN SOME AREAS LAST NIGHT WHEN THOSE STORMS ROLLED THROUGH. OUR CREWS ALSO SAW BRANCHES DOWN IN WAUWATOSA THIS MORNING. I DO ALSO WANT TO MENTION TO YOU , BECAUSE THESE TREES ARE DOWN IN THE ROADWAY AND WE ARE NOT SEEING SUNLIGHT, IT IS INCREDIBLY DARK IF WE WERE TO TURN OUR LIGHTS OFF TO SEE IT. YOU CAN’T. WE DID SOME -- SEASON PEOPLE COME THROUGH AND SLAM ON THE BRAKES WHEN THEY FINALLY SAW THE TREE I

Thunderstorms rolled through southeastern Wisconsin Sunday.There were several trees and branches down in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhoodThe storms started in the northern counties and moved south.Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for almost every county at some point. There were power outages across the area, with the most in Dodge, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties. Most of the power was restored by 8:00 a.m. on Monday.There was also tree damage across the region.
