The Salem Grade School Board following a closed session at last week’s meeting took action on a number of personnel issues.
The board hired Abbie Shumate, Joanne Luttrell, and Jon Wight as paraprofessionals.
Superintendent Dr. Leslie Foppe says they are still looking for two more, one apiece at Hawthorn and Franklin Park Schools.
The board also hired Bryttanni Krietemeyer as a full-time evening custodian and promoted Sheryl Wolff from part-time to full-time in the cafeteria.
