CLEVELAND, Ohio — Game balls go out to the following players for their Week 6 performances of the high school football season.

⦁ Rocco Alfieri, Kirtland: A junior, Alfieri rushed for three touchdowns and a game-high 75 yards on just nine carries to help Kirtland make quick work Friday night of Chagrin Falls in a 38-6 win. Alfieri scored twice in the first quarter and had a 2-point conversion for a 15-0 lead.
⦁ Shahn Alston, Harvey: The freshman scored four TDs and rushed for 130 yards on 11 carries in a 42-0 win at Orwell Grand Valley. Defensively, Alston added four tackles and a sack.
⦁ Andrew Bruce, Chardon: The junior rushed for 156 yards and two TDs on 15 carries in the Hilltoppers’ 35-18 win at Kenston.
⦁ Burke Buell, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin: A senior, Buell rushed for 203 yards and three TDs on 20 carries in the Lions’ 46-0 win vs. East Liverpool.
⦁ Marcel Boyce Jr., Buchtel: Boyce turned seven receptions into 137 yards and three TDs on Saturday in the Griffins’ 26-6 win against Ellet. Boyce, a junior, proved to again be a big-play target for sophomore Stevie Diamond, who threw for 216 yards and four TD passes.
⦁ Rocco Conti, Olmsted Falls: Conti, a senior, rushed for 166 yards and three TDs on 17 carries in the Bulldogs’ 25-14 comeback win Friday at Elyria. They scored 18 unanswered points — all on TDs by Conti — after facing a 14-7 halftime deficit.
⦁ Justin Cox, Akron East: Cox had just one incomplete pass in a 64-0 win against North. He finished with 150 yards and four TDs on 9-of-10 passing, finding Ronin Kelley on two scores for 65 yards and Tristan Thomas for 91 yards with another TD.
⦁ Sam DeTillio, Avon: Another efficient night from Avon’s All-Ohio quarterback. DeTillio completed 12 of 16 passes for 312 yards and four TDs, all in the first half of the Eagles’ 63-7 win against North Ridgeville. DeTillio also ran for 56 yards on five carries.
⦁ Hudson Devins, Berea-Midpark: Devins broke the Titans’ single-game rushing record with 256 yards and four TDs on just nine carries in a 48-7 win vs. Amherst. He also had nine tackles on defense.
⦁ Jeremy Dzik, Avon Lake: Dzik threw only four incomplete passes, making 17 of 21 throws for 246 yards and three TDs in Avon Lake’s 56-7 win against Midview. Matthew Stuewe had 102 yards and two TDs on seven receptions, while junior Wade Nelson added 91 yards and three TDs on 11 carries.
⦁ Levi Ellis, Elyria Catholic: Ellis rushed for 157 yards and three TDs in the Panthers’ 42-7 win against Fairview. Ellis reached 4,000 yards for his career at EC.
⦁ Darreon Fair, Cleveland Heights: The Tigers keep rolling and so has Fair, who rushed for 274 yards and four TDs on 17 carries in their 56-28 win at Strongsville. They are 6-0.
⦁ Derek Fairley, Lutheran West: A junior, Fairley scored four times in the Longhorns’ 59-6 win against Wickliffe. He scored early on a 29-yard TD pass from Clay Noble and again from Jalany Theodore before adding an 84-yard kick return to the end zone.
⦁ Scotty Fox, Mentor: A sophomore quarterback, Fox threw for 264 yards and five TD passes on 32-of-47 passing in the Cardinals’ 35-14 win at Brunswick. Senior Jacob Snow showed out at wide receiver with 69 yards and a TD on eight receptions.
⦁ Cade Fromwiller, Aurora: Fromwiller scored twice in Aurora’s 31-30 comeback victory against Tallmadge. He caught a critical TD pass from Matt Geier, cutting Tallmadge’s lead to two points in the fourth quarter. Fromwiller had three receptions for 26 yards on offense, but the senior linebacker’s defensive play came up big with five tackles, a forced fumble and another strip that he returned for a TD.
⦁ Eugene Gibbons, St. Ignatius: Gibbons set a school record with five sacks in the Wildcats’ 21-14 win at River Rouge in Michigan.
⦁ Andrew Haas, St. Edward: A senior defensive lineman, Haas had two sacks and two more tackles for loss Saturday in the Eagles’ 37-6 win against Rock Creek Christian (Md.).
⦁ Santino Harper, St. Vincent-St. Mary: The senior broke loose Friday for 218 yards and three TDs on 23 carries to lead the Fighting Irish to a 27-12 win at Warren Harding.
⦁ Alex Henry, Chardon: The Hilltoppers’ senior quarterback ran for 168 yards and two TDs on 26 carries in their win at Kenston. He engineered an offense that ran for 408 yards and 473 yards of total offense.
⦁ Blake Hopkins, Black River: Hopkins scored four times and recovered a fourth-quarter fumble to lead the Pirates’ 29-14 win against Brookside. Hopkins rushed for 181 yards.
⦁ Jared Kelley, North Olmsted: The senior paced the Eagles’ 42-8 win at Westlake with 128 yards rushing on 12 carries and another 72 yards on three receptions with three total TDs.
⦁ Dawon King, Maple Heights: The senior quarterback rushed for a game-high 126 yards with a score and completed 7 of 10 passes to lead the Mustangs’ 32-19 win against Lorain.
⦁ Ryan Lawson, Mentor: The defensive lineman led the Cardinals on his side of the ball at Brunswick with four tackles, six assists, two TFL and a sack.
⦁ Mason Long, Field: Long rushed for 123 yards and two TDs to pace the Falcons’ 35-23 win against Ravenna.
⦁ Roderick Love, Padua: The sophomore came up with a 66-yard TD run in the third quarter of the Bruins’ 21-9 win at Lake Catholic that gave them the lead for good.
⦁ Ian Ludewig, Hudson: A junior, Ludewig rushed for a career-high 231 yards and four TDs on 22 carries in Hudson’s 45-0 win at Brecksville-Broadview Heights.
⦁ Xzavier Macon, Barberton: Macon scored twice with 132 yards on just eight carries in the Magics’ 34-7 win against Revere.
⦁ Luke Mangini, Hawken: Mangini didn’t leave the field in Hawken’s 48-7 win against Brooklyn. On offense, he carried the football nine times for 116 yards and added two receptions for 51 yards with a TD. Defensively, the junior had five tackles, one sack and two TFL.
⦁ Brady McKnight, Riverside: McKnight scored on three of his five receptions, finishing with 159 yards in Riverside’s 58-14 win at Mayfield. His play helped junior quarterback Mikey Maloney to 236 yards passing.
⦁ Cody Miller, North Royalton: A junior, Miller paced the Bears’ 28-11 win against Stow-Munroe Falls with 204 yards and two TDs on 31 carries. The Bulldogs avoided him on kick returns by squib kicking the football. Miller also serves as the Bears’ long snapper.
⦁ Ryan Pattison, University School: Pattison’s 183 yards rushing and three TDs on 32 carries led the Preppers to a 28-20 win Saturday against Gilmour. He clinched it with an interception.
⦁ Jack Pinchek, Olmsted Falls: A senior safety, Pinchek came up with a fourth-quarter interception Friday that preserved the Bulldogs’ win at Elyria. At the time of Pinchek’s big play, Olmsted Falls held a 19-14 lead. It set up Conti for an 80-yard TD.
⦁ Tyrone Singleton, Willoughby South: Singleton scored five times, including four rushing TDs in the Rebels’ 41-26 win against Brush. Singleton finished with 130 yards rushing on 10 carries, while Brush’s Tanelle Rose had 142 yards and a score on 18 carries.
⦁ Kyle Snider, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy: Snider rushed for 181 yards and a TD on 24 carries to help the Royals hold off Navarre Fairless and hand the Falcons their first loss.
⦁ Lamar Sperling, Archbishop Hoban: Sperling rushed for four TDs and 152 yards on 26 carries to lead Hoban’s 32-20 win at Walsh Jesuit. Sperling’s Mr. Football watch continues. He has 1,387 yards and 21 TDs on 132 carries.
⦁ Will Stack, Wadsworth: The junior quarterback rushed for 113 yards and three TDs, plus another 156 yards passing, to pace Wadsworth’s 41-14 win against Nordonia and hand the Knights their first loss.
⦁ Danny Stoddard, Medina: The junior completed 25 of 41 passes for 364 yards and four TDs in Medina’s 48-7 romp at Euclid.
⦁ Weston Strader, Firelands: Strader rushed for a whopping 377 yards and six TDs in a 46-42 win at Keystone that not only knocked off the defending Lorain County League champions, but handed the Wildcats their first LCL loss in 23 games. In the loss, Keystone sophomore Zach Shackelford paced the Wildcats with 210 yards and three TDs on 11 receptions. Konner Rodick threw for 363 yards and five TDs, with another 72 yards rushing, for Keystone in the high-scoring affair.
⦁ Dom Trivisonno, Aurora: His 23-yard field goal in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winner in their 31-30 comeback vs. Tallmadge. The junior also recovered his own onsides kick, made all four of his extra points and added four tackles at safety with an interception.
