Portland Police are investigating a fatal shooting Sunday morning.

Police say there were called to a hotel in the 8200 Block of NE Sandy at 3:24 a.m.

When police arrived they found an injured male, however, when paramedics arrived, they pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police say no immediate arrests were made.

Detectives from Portland Police Homicide Unit responded to conduct the investigation.
