Police investigate separate weekend shootings that kill three, injure several others
Columbus police are investigating after at least three people were killed and several were injured in separate overnight shootings Saturday and Sunday on the East Side and in South Linden.
A woman was shot and killed and two others were injured, one critically, in a shooting at a bar on Livingston Avenue on the East Side early Sunday morning, Columbus police said.

Around 4:30 a.m., police responded to the Queen of Hearts Pub on the 5500 block of Livingston Avenue for the report of a shooting, according to a release. When they arrived they discovered two women injured with gunshot wounds. One woman, identified as Shamira Rhodes, 30, was pronounced on the scene around 4:47 a.m. A 17-year-old girl was transported to an area hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Another, 42-year-old, female victim was later transported privately to Mt. Carmel East hospital, where she was in stable condition Sunday afternoon.
Police said a fight broke out during a gathering. During the fight, at least one person used a handgun, firing shots that struck all the victims. Investigators are still attempting to determine what prompted the dispute, and police did not identify any suspects in the shooting.
Motorcycle club scene of another fatal shooting, police say
On the East Side, one man was shot and killed at a motorcycle club, and three others were also shot in another shooting after the man was discovered near John Glenn Columbus International Airport, police said.

At around 11:05 p.m Saturday, officers responded to the area of E. 5th Avenue and Osborn St. on a shooting. When police arrived, they found one male victim, identified as Trevor Seymour, 52, injured with a gunshot wound. Seymour was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Three other victims were shot, but they transported themselves to Ohio State University East Hospital and were not critically injured, police said. The victims were treated and released.
The shooting took place outside a motorcycle club and there were no cooperating witnesses, police said.

Fatal shooting in South Linden
Another person early Sunday was killed in South Linden after a separate fatal shooting.
Around 12:53 AM on September 25, police responded to a reported shooting in the 1200 block of E. 18th Avenue. When they arrived, officers located 21-year-old Gavin Osborne suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a release.
Osborne succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead around 1 a.m. by Columbus medics, according to police.
A person of interest was detained at the scene of the shooting, which police later said is being investigated as possible self-defense. The case will be forwarded to the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office, where a grand jury will consider whether charges should be filed.
Police also investigating Friday shooting in Linden alley
Meanwhile, police are investigating the Friday afternoon fatal shooting of a man in an alley in Linden. Police say Mario Copeland, 38, was standing in an alley south of the 1200 block of E. Hudson Street around 1 p.m. when he was confronted by a group of men.
During the confrontation, one of the men pulled a gun and shot Copeland multiple times, according to police. Following the shooting, all the men fled. Copeland was transported to Grant, where he was pronounced deceased at 1:34 p.m.
