CBS Sports predicts the AP Top 25 rankings after Week 4 of college football
With an interesting Week 4 behind us, CBS Sports has predicted the AP Top 25 poll following a weeks worth of nail-biters, upsets and overtimes, and some of the moves may come as a surprise.
According to CBS Sports, the biggest losers from Saturday were Oklahoma and Arkansas, dropping down 10 spots and eight spots, respectively. The Sooners were upset by Kansas State – who didn’t make the list – and Arkansas fell to Texas A&M, which moved them up six spots from No. 23 to No. 17.
Also joining the Aggies as Week 4’s biggest movers, Ohio State has jumped Alabama as No. 2 despite the Crimson Tide defeating Vanderbilt 55-3. Tennessee jumped into top-10 after a win vs. Florida, while Florida State, Minnesota and Kansas are all expected to jump into the Top 25 after wins on Saturday.

In terms of teams that dropped out of the rankings – Texas (22), Pitt (24) and Miami (25) all have been dropped in favor of the Seminoles, Golden Gophers and Jayhawks.

Looking ahead to next week, there are a handful of major matchups for teams CBS expects to be ranked when the AP Poll is released. Alabama heads to Arkansas, Kentucky and Ole Miss will battle in Oxford, Oklahoma State travels to Baylor, Wake Forest plays at Florida State and NC State vs. Clemson are all Week 5 matchups worth tuning in for.
