Four NC teens charged with murder in shooting death of 18-year-old

Four Wilmington teenagers were charged with murder after an 18-year-old boy died after being shot at an apartment complex.

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Four Wilmington teenagers were charged with murder after an 18-year-old boy died after being shot at an apartment complex.

Jailin Tilghman-Deablo, of Wilmington, was shot at the 1200 block in Buckingham Avenue at around 3 p.m. on Friday. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Labron Damarieion Isai Pryor and Damon Stackhouse, both 18 and from Wilmington, were charged with murder. Pryor  was also charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling, possession of a stolen firearm.

Pryor and Stackhouse are being held at the New Hanover County Detention Center without bond while the two 16-year-old boys are being held at the New Hanover County Juvenile Detention Center.

"Reducing gun violence in our community is a top priority for the Wilmington Police Department. We will continue to work tirelessly in making our community a safe place to live and work," the police department wrote on Facebook. "We will charge all perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law. If these cases qualify, we will seek federal charges."

Just last week, two teenage boys were arrested in Graham, North Carolina, in connection to the shooting deaths of two other teenage boys.
