Dry this morning and a little warmer than yesterday. We've got some clouds around, but they'll break by mid-morning.
Sunday a cold front enters the area.
This front has been tricky to determine how much moisture will actually be present when it crosses.
Right now, it looks like it will have a little bit more moisture to work with than what we thought on Friday.
So - we've bumped up rain chances to just under half of us getting a shower or storm Sunday. Not all bad news, we've been in a very dry stretch of days so we could use some rain.
The time rain is most likely to possibly visit your backyard would be between about noon and 9 p.m. Some of the showers/storms could be a tad rowdy Sunday, too. Gusty winds are our main concern—highs near 80.
Things calm down tonight, lows returning to the upper 50s to near 60.
Once that front passes, we'll dry out again for Monday through Thursday before we turn our attention to the tropics.
This may give us a rather soggy Friday and Saturday of next weekend if everything comes together.
If Ian makes landfall in Florida on Wednesday, which it is projected to do, we would need to watch where it goes from there.
Model agreement is virtually none at the moment, so we'll need to watch it, and we've got time to do so. However, it is looking increasingly likely that Friday and Saturday could feature soaking rain.
Keep checking back for updates.
