Quincy community members took to the street just outside of Dick Bros. Brewery to celebrate Oktoberfest.
The annual beer drinking event is one of the premier events of the year with hundreds of people coming out to try different beers and also wine.
But there is more than just drinking, live music, dancing. There's also the infamous beer and brat dash as part of the spectacle helping make this event better and better each year.
"The way we've evolved is that we've brought in other people that can help us with food and the Dick Bros. Brewery owners, Bret and Joi Austin and their partners," said Oktoberfest Co-Chair Roger Leenerts. "What they've done on this street with some of the lighting and the banners and the flags that has really helped to create a great environment."
This year the event also featured tours of the brewery tunnel and cavern underneath Dick Bros. Brewery.
All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Quincy Rotary Club and their projects.
