Lock Haven, Pa. (9/24/22) – The Kean University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the LHU Invitational on Saturday with several Cougars posting personal top times for the season.
The meet was the largest that Kean has been a part of this season, with 44 schools participating.
In the men's white division 8K, rookie William Mitchell placed 15th with a season best (27:28.9). Six other Cougars on the men's side also posted season bests with Adriel Rosas (30:59.5), Corey Rodriguez (32:34.7), Callens Desrameaux (33:06.4), Jackson Arthur (34.37.1), Tymell Hubbard (37:30.9) and Luis Morales (40.26.7).
In the women's crimson division 6K, Anetha Jenkins topped her previous time by 14 minutes in this week's race with a time of 28:03.2. Sam Murri and Nancy Martinez-Maldonado earned Kean's top two times this week with 27:11.3 and 27:18.6 respectively.
Kean will have some recovery time before racing again on October 8th at the Highlander Cross Country Challenge at NJIT.
