At least one dead in crash on west state Route 94 in Rancho San Diego
At least one person died in a crash on west state Route 94 in Rancho San Diego on Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was first reported near Via Mercado about 6:10 p.m.
One witness said the collision involved a vehicle and a motorcycle, according to a CHP log of the incident.
No additional details were immediately available.
