CHICO, Calif. - In a Facebook post, the Chico Housing Action Team has announced that construction on Everhart Village will start on Monday.
Everhart Village will be located at 540 Cohasset Rd., and will consist of 20 tiny homes for the homeless.
“After two years of hard work, planning, research and collaboration, we are almost ready to get this project operational,” Everhart Village Program Manager Caitlyn Patterson said. “CHAT is incredibly thankful for all of the community’s ongoing invaluable support, Everhart Village could not happen without it.”
The estimated start of operations is early 2023.
